As demand for semiconductor components exploded due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the global shortage has placed Taiwan’s outsized role in chipmaking under the spotlight.
Identifying this as a key subject of collaboration between Taiwan and India in the coming years, the Taipei Computer Association and the Foundation for Commerce and Culture Interchange has named ITCF 2021, an forum that has shared updates, ideas and opportunities for collaboration between Taiwan and India for the past decade, “Silicon Handshake: Forming Technology Alliance Post-Pandemic”.
This year, we have invited two prominent scholars to keynote for our online forum, Dr. V.K. Saraswat of NITI Aayog, and Dr. Weh-Kuan Yeh of the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute. This will definitely be a rare opportunity to listen to their thoughts and insights.
In addition to the keynote speakers, there is also a panel discussion session with captains of the semiconductor industry! The panel will engage in discussions on investments and industry cooperation in semiconductors, from the perspectives of technology, manufacturing, and skill development.
We extend a very warm welcome for you to join our forum!
