?India invites Second Round application for PLI Scheme ?
The Government of India has started inviting applications for the second round of large-scale of electronics manufacturing under the Production-Linked Incentive scheme (PLI Scheme). The Second round is expanded the window for up to 30 eligible companies from identified Electronic Component segments.
The Components identified for this second round of PLI Schemes include:
?Discrete semiconductor devices
?SMT Components
?Passive components including resistors, capacitors
?Printed Circuit Boards
?ATMP Units
?Sensors
?Micro/Nano-electronic components, etc.
Application window for the Scheme will be open till March 31, 2021, and the tenure of the second round is for 4 years. The incentive shall be applicable from April 1, 2021.
