Anchor companies like Vivo, Oppo, Samsung, Lava, Haier, LG, etc. along with reputed component suppliers like Holitech, Transsion, Jahwa, Sunwoda, etc. have set up their units in Noida, G.Noida, and Yamuna Expressway. The arrival of the TEGNA electronics cluster has added another feather in the cap for the evolving ESDM ecosystem. Samsung which has been established in this region for the last 20 years has cemented its position by launching the world’s largest mobile manufacturing unit in 2018 along with the recent shift of its mobile display factory to Noida from China.
Uttar Pradesh is the biggest Electronics Manufacturing Hub in India representing the largest electronics cluster in India with 40% of new ESDM manufacturing units established in India have set up their base in UP. The state was ranked 2nd in Ease of Doing Business ranking in India. The state has set up India’s largest Single Window Portal – ‘Nivesh Mitra’ to facilitate the business, by providing requisite NOCs/permissions/clearances for establishing and running a business. More than 3,50,000 applications have been successfully closed so far through Niveshmitra portal.
